1. Hit the point 1st, and elaborate 2nd
(Sirach 31:15)


2. Listen & observe what's being said [By their mouth & body]
(Proverbs 6:12-15; 29:11, Sirach 19:29-30)


3. Address one question at a time
(1st Corinthians 14:40)


4. Take your time [Bring them down to your speed]
(Sirach 5:11, James 1:19)


5. Always place the burden of proof on them
(1st Thessalonians 5:21, Sirach 19:15)


6. Get the crowd involved [Get a 2nd or 3rd opinion]
(1st Samuel 17:26-30, Matthew 18:16, Luke 20:1-8)


7. Have a scripture for every question asked
(Proverbs 26:5, Colossians 4:6, 1st Peter 3:15)


8. Only answer what you feel is necessary
(Proverbs 26:4, 1st Timothy 6:20, 2nd Timothy 2:23)


9. Confound them in their own doctrine
(Sirach 5:15, Luke 20:1-8, Acts 23:6-8)


10. Correct them once or twice and then end it
(1st Corinthians 14:38, Titus 3:10-11)


11. Ask for help when needed
