"Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me" (Psalm 40:7).
"The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy" (Revelation 19:10).
"...all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me" (Jesus Christ, Luke 24:44).
"And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself." (Jesus Christ, Luke 24:27).
"For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me." (Jesus Christ, John 5:46).
"To Him give all the prophets witness" (Acts 10:43).

The 1st step in understanding the prophesied Messiah, Ha'Mashiach Yahawashai (Jesus the Christ), is coming to the understanding that he has been since the beginning and created all things through the Power of The Most High...

John 1:1-3
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[2] He was in the beginning with God.
[3] All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

Colossians 1:16
[16] For by him (Christ) all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him (Christ) and for him (Christ).

  • In the beginning, it is described how Christ and his redemptive work on the cross was depicted in the ancient Hebrew pictographs that make up the first word in the Bible, the Hebrew word barasheet (translated most frequently as "In the beginning").This, of course, echoes Isaiah 46:10 “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times what is still to come...”

Mathematically speaking, the odds of anyone fulfilling as many prophecies as Christ, is virtually impossible. Mathematicians put it this way:

  • 1 person fulfilling 8 prophecies:
    1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000

  • 1 person fulfilling 48 prophecies:
1 chance in 10 to the 157th power

  • 1 person fulfilling 100+ prophecies: Only CHRIST!

Born in Bethlehem:
The Old Testament foretells of the messiah being born in Bethlehem. Micah 5:2 says: "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times." The story of Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem is told in the New Testament books of Mathew, Luke, and John.

Born of a virgin:
Isaiah 7:14 says: “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” The New Testament book of Matthew repeats this prophecy in a passage detailing Joseph’s encounter with an angel of the Lord, who tells Joseph that Mary’s child was conceived by the Holy Spirit and will save his people from their sins.

Kings Shall Bring Him Gifts:
Great "kings" paying homage and tribute to the Messiah, as prophesied in Psalms 72:10-11; was fulifilled in Matthew 2:1-11 where the young Christ was presented with gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh

From the line of Abraham:
A prophecy of the messiah being a descendant of Abraham is told in Genesis 22:18: "And through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed." The genealogy of Jesus is told in the book of Matthew, which refers to him as “the son of David, "the son of Abraham.”

A descendant of Jacob. Numbers: 24:17 says: "A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel." The genealogy of Jesus laid out in the book of Matthew details Jesus lineage through Isaac and Jacob.

Rulers Take Council Against Him:
Psalms 2:1-2 says "

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed"

Be Rejected As Capstone:
Psalms 118:22-23 says "The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.

23 This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes

King Comes To Jerusalem Riding A Donkey:
Zechariah 9:9 says "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.”

Be A Stumbling Block:
Isaiah 8:14 says "And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.”
